The Truth Behind Pineapple Express

Ever wonder whether or not Pineapple Express is a type of weed? Well, in the movie we’re all told that it is a super rare bud that comes from the Hawaiian islands and has landed in California. Only one super crazy dealer has the stuff so panic ensues when they trace it back to a peddler that can pinpoint a guy who shot a cop.

Well, Pineapple Express does exist, but it’s nothing like you thought. It’s the name of a specific type of storm. That’s right. No Ganja involved. It’s the name of a storm when things get crazy on the west coast of California.’

Hey Buddy!

Hey Buddy!

Pineapple Express (also known as Pineapple Connection) is a non-technical, shorthand term popular in the news media for a meteorological phenomenon which is characterized by a strong and persistent flow of atmospheric moisture and associated heavy rainfall from the waters adjacent to the Hawaiian Islands and extending to any location along the Pacific coast of North America.

Bet you didn’t see that coming right? Well at least they referenced the actual term when talking about the bud. Here at Phi we educate you too! ;)

How bad did that make you want to see the movie? Well here’s a refresher to hold you over:

Colorado Legally Tracks Their Bud

If you’re in Colorado and you’re enjoying your “medical condition” then we have some news for you. Colorado is about to enforce some laws that track every part of any pot sale in the state. That definitely includes getting the product out of Colorado. How? Some fancy JAMES BOND type of

Dun Dun, DUN DUN Dun Dun..

Dun Dun, DUN DUN Dun Dun..

stuff.

“We plan to track the entire commodity from seed to sale,” said Matt Cook of the Colorado Department of Enforcement. “From the time a seed goes into the ground to the time the plants are harvested, cultivated, processed, packaged and stored.”

That came from a company called Medical Marijuana Inc, who have the most boring name on the planet for a company who does what they do.  Check it out right here as they break it down for you, though it looks like to me they’re just trying to sport their company. But hey! What do I know, right?

Way to go ahead and scare everybody Colorado. We didn’t do anything to you! And why do you got to go ahead and track us like that? We’re not going to start some fires or anything.

Take a lesson from Bob Marley and just simmer down.

Kali Mist

kali-mistArguably the top sativa strain available today. With 90% sativa genetices, Kali Mist grows into tall, running, classically sativa plants with very few leaves. This strain produces dense clusters of full fluffy buds, producing much higher yields than you would expect. The plant structure and few leaves allow the light to pass all the way to lower branches, allowing bottom buds to develop fully. When planted outside early in the year this plant can grow very tall. Expect spiraling flowers with a high resin content and a delightfully spicy scent.

Kali Mist is often the choice of experts for their own stash grows. Also, particularly women seem to like this strain, next to the sheer pleasure of smoking it, we received several reports that it works great against menstrual cramps.
